Animated Avatar Concepts

Like a lot of people on DA, I've been obsessing over Cuphead. Well I haven't actually played it but that animation is just soooo good! The second part of the final boss I found particularly gorgeous  

Since I'd wanted to replace my generic emoji-ish profile picture for a long time I figured I'd go for broke with an animated one! Something in a loose approximation of the style Cuphead emulates.

After some creative doodling and a quick caricature of myself I settled on the toothy, pineapple haired fellow at the bottom. It's kind of a mix between the style I was aiming for and a strange caricature of myself, and although it doesn't have much of a 30's vibe right now the animation is going to have that musical hop to it that's so distinctive to those old toons.
